Asalaamu Alaikum Fatima & Salma,
I pray this message finds you guys in the best of health & highest of Eman, and I hope your semester is going great.
As you know, our event for Africa with all the other MSAs & Islamic Relief is less than two weeks away and so this is the home stretch for us. Alhamdulillah everything has been going smoothly and easily in regards to preparation for our great event, except ticket sales. Our ticket sales are pretty low right now. So, I'd like to know how many tickets Drew MSA has sold so far? We have 10 MSAs on board, and if in each MSA 5 members sell 10 tickets each or 10 members sell 5 tickets each, we will sell out iA. That's all it takes, just 5 people selling 10 or 10 people selling 5 each. Can we count on Drew MSA commit to this 10/5 or 5/10?
In regards to tickets, Islamic Relief were supposed to have physical tickets for us but they haven't printed them, so the only way for people to purchase tickets is online through Eventbrite: http://irusamontclair.eventbrite.com/# . Student tickets are $20, non-student $25, and a family package of five people is $75. Insha'Allah babysitting will be provided. We're also asking all our guests to arrive by 6:45 because the event will start at 7:00 pm sharp.
Again, because we only have less than two weeks left, we're have to act fast. Please do spread our flyers across your campuses, communities, masajids, etc and invite everyone that you know. We have Wisam Sharieff, Preacher Moss, spoken word, nasheeds, comedy, art auction, dinner, etc, so its shouldn't be a hard sell, and of course our cause is excellent. I hope Drew MSA can really come through and sell as many tickets as possible in the next two weeks, and of course, I look forward to seeing you guys at the event.
