Pink Hijab Day and Eid Al-Adha dinner

Hey Guys,
So Pink Hijab day will be this upcoming Wednesday on October 27th, we'll be tabling in the EC from 11-2 and 5-7. We'll send an email out with sign-ups for tabling and ribbon/poster making (which will be on Tuesday at 4). We are going to purchase chocolate covered pretzels, and put them into baggies and give them out, and we will also be selling pink ribbon pins. The budget suggested for this event is $50 which mayeven be too much since all be need is a few bags of pretzels, baggies and ribbon.
I need someone with access to ems to request a table. Iman, we'd like you to make a facebook event. Noran, did you look into the foundation? I think Health Services did an event with the Susan G. Komen foundation so we can ask themif they have any left over materials, if not I'll ask Golden if he does, or we can contact them ourselves.

We discussed the Eid Al-Adha dinner for a bit, which is November 8th in Crawford Hall 5:30-8pm.  
Ideas for this event were:
Goodie Bags
Eid decorations
Speaker- Salmas Uncle (who can speak about why we celebrate Eid Al-Adha

Ok Salma. Sounds good. I think they want volunteers to wear The same colors. White,black and green.

Noran- looking at Nadia s email. It seems that all we need is:
Choco covered pretzels
pink ribbons
Small baggies.

Yeah, there's a brand called Flipz in the chip aisle that's like $2 for a bag that has like 25. Make sure you get ribbon to tie the bags or tie things. 

Also a pack of little pins, stick pins or safety pins. 
- poster board for the sign
- tablecloth ?

You guys think we should add quick facts to the bags ? Like stats, importance of early detection, just general info. We can print them on sticky labels and stick them to the bag or get the tags you print on from staples or stop and shop. 

I would be able to print them out at home.

Guys I sent out the campus wide, and the credit card is requested for tommorow around 4:30pm just in case we don't find stuff from stop and shop with the LPO. However, I am unable to post in the Drew Community Forums. So if someone has access to that just copy and past the campus wide email in there aswell

This is hilarious! We could make it into a Muslim version for the 
Eid event though lol and give out prizes !


Also for the Eid event, we could do a quiz right
 after the speaker and the table that has the most right answers 
gets to get up for food first or dessert or something. This way
We know people will be taking a way key pts from the lecture

Is it possible for us to table again tomm? Or next week on Monday? Today was not working out! Everyone had meetings and etc etc. I talked to a few other members, and they said if there was a way to sign up for hours ahead of time that would be better. So maybe if we can do that with doodle that would be really good.

Not having the ribbons ready was my fault, I take responsibility for that. Sorry guys.
