What events would you like to see happen next year?

Besides MSA east zone & halal-kosher cook off?

Oh yeah! Any events on what we want to do? I have to be specific in the budget.

We should do like three speakers that week and theme it on basic things about Islam that others can relate too, things that are not controversial but basic Islamic facts

Something easy is the prophets

-Musa (Moses)
-Isa/ Jesus
-Abraham (Ibrahim)

These are also easy ways to get cosponsorship with like Hillel and the Theo School.

Also a Hijabathon would be pretty awesome.

Another cool thing is a giant tent on a Friday afternoon with like BBQ with info and pamphlets would be really awesome to sum it up. We could have jummah prayer outside?

So I worked with whatever suggestions everyone suggested. Please take a look at it & let me know what you think.
It isn't finalzied yet because I don't know what you guys want to do for Islamic Awareness what we'll spend it on

Looks good so far. Maybe for IAW like Salma suggested , each day can be a different thing. Here are some ideas 

Monday- The passing out of roses idea that Nadia had with sunnahs of the Prophet (SAW) attached

Tuesday- Lecture night (invite a speaker and talk about a certain theme , maybe (The misconceptions of Islam)

Wednesday- An interactive event tracing Islam around the world and maybe like a museum looking at the history (may be too much but it could be cool)

Thursday- Another lecture, maybe something on Women in Islam would be informative

Friday- Partaaay!! halal style of course :)
