Are you bothered by large files of images being uploaded in your blogs? You must. It is not really advisable to upload large files for web display only because for some reasons:

1. It consumes large file storage.
2. It takes long to upload in our blog post.
3. Sometimes it makes our blog page to open very slow.
4. When our blog platform re-size our image, it gives not good resolution.

So in this case we must re-size our images before uploading them in our blogs. How? Photoshop can do the miracle, no doubt about it. But what if you will be uploading 10 or more captured images? Definitely it will eat a lot of your time. What if you don’t have Photoshop or other photo editing software? This could be a problem though MSPaint can do the resizing but I hate doing so.

Many bloggers are fun of sharing their moments online and I am one of those. My 14MP digital camera makes a single capture image of about 4MB. So can you imagine what if I upload 10 images with 4MB file size each? Let’s take another example with my digital scrapbooking layouts with 3600x3600pixels (more than 5MB), I cannot display these layouts online with this kind of size dimension. I have to re-size them to about 600x600 without losing their resolution quality. And I can re-size layouts as many as I can in just few clicks.

I will share to you the best tool for image or photo resizing without quality loss. If you are a blogger and fun of posting images online, this is the software you must have: the Fastone Photo Resizer.

Choose Resize tab and you can set manually your preferred dimensions or pick from the standard sizes. The software will automatically correct your input dimension so you don’t have to worry if you do not input the exact width and height. Just indicate your preferred width and estimated height and the software will correct it for you. Click OK if you are done.

7. Then click now the Convert button to start resizing (7).

8. This window will appear. You can compare the old and new file size of the images. It shows big differences, right? After all your images information are set to OK, click Done button.

9. You’re done converting. You can now check the re-sized images.

You can also check some other features of this software like adding watermark, image border, cropping, etc. This is an awesome software that everyone must have. You have to try this software and you will not regret, I swear! I personally love the software and for almost two years of using it, I get all the satisfaction in image resizing. Be sure to comply with the terms of use of this software.

Hope this information will help you in some way. You can also contact the Fastone support about your feedbacks, donations, and recommendations about the software.

Enjoy your photo resizing!
