We have to go out of town for a funeral and will not be back in time to attend this meeting.

I hope someone from the hac and dredging committee can attend and voice Jim Starkey concerns below. I also support what he indicates below.

Jim or Carl can you forward this to the dredging committee ?

Things I would ask about: 1) How can we plan dredging projects if the state doesn’t announce funding until after the project has been bid, 2) If the state isn’t going to pay the major part of the cost, the town must pick up the rest, and we need to charge out of town mooring holders their fair share of the cost, and 3) We need to change MGL so mooring fees can legally be set to cover harbor maintenance costs.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

It has been a while since our last meeting and a lot of progress has been made since.

Looking ahead, it is imperative that we set a date for our next NECC meeting.

The Town of Essex has generously offered to host our next meeting which will be:

Friday, March 23^rd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Essex Town Hall (30 Martin Street, Essex, MA) 3^rd Floor Auditorium.

Our agenda will be heavy considering how much time has passed since the last time we met and will consist of updates from each community. It will be sent electronically a few days before the meeting.

Acknowledging how difficult it is to coordinate one meeting for so many people, the date mentioned above is a set date. Any adjustments you can make to accommodate your attendance is greatly appreciated, however it is understandable if you cannot attend.

For any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
