I believe we have a solid, well thought out, defensible plan for future
harbor dredgings.  Our nest step is to sell it to other committees and
boards and get the engineering and planning for the next dredging
funded.  The first step for this is a joint meeting with the Harbor
Advisory Committee so we are all on the same page and they understand
the costs when it comes time to set mooring fees.  Unfortunately, the
Harbor Advisory Committee is too busy doing other things to consider
dredging, and I haven't been able to get on their agenda.

If, like me, you think that harbor maintenance is critical to our
harbor's future, you might address your concern to Carl Doane, chairman
of the Harbor Advisory Committee.
