Immersive 3D Worlds for Real-Time Transportation and Land Use Planning
ORBITEC's Hypercosm 3D Interactive Systems and Services Group has won a subcontract from the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission of Peoria, Illinois to build a real-time, interactive 3D planning and visualization software tool. The goal is to bring visual representation of development and transportation infrastructure into the decision making process, and use it to build consensus and enhance public participation.
