Hello,

I want to use Dream 3D to generate Inhomogeneous 3D concrete Cube based on 2D Images with Tiff format.
How can I stack my Images ?
I can not find the filter ?
And, How can I import my 3D Geometry into Abaqus software ?

Thank you

For importing the image data see this tutorial video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POQsTKEHMjQ

For exporting to Abaqus there are only a few choices that may or may not
work. There is the "Abaqus Hexahedron Export" filter which will take
your voxelized structure and write some Abaqus compatible files.

You could also surface mesh (using the Quick Mesh filter) and then use
the Abaqus Surface Mesh exporter filter.

We need more details. Can you save the pipeline and then send it to the
list? Or show the error message that you are receiving from DREAM.3D?

AS you see the start button is not green. Also I put my images with .tiff format ( with 2 f , converted by Matlab code ) in Data foler and select it for input directory but do not detect them.should I convert them? is there any filter?

Set the "File Extension" to ".tiff"
You will also need to set the other variables appropriately. Since there
are literally millions of different combinations of filenames we leave
it to the user to set all the proper File Prefix, File Suffix, File
Extension, Start index, End Index and Padding Digits to allow DREAM.3D
to properly form the file names.

Can you post the first 5 filenames of your images?

Hi,

I change my first slice name to slice_0 and the start button is green. and then I went accordance video but in ( create element Array from feature array) there is some diffrence for me , the "element data to copy to feature data" and the "copied attribute array" boxes are diffrent ( in the pic ). and then I click to start and make .Xdmf file in output folder and Apply it by para view but it failed. the error report is ;

Remove Filter #05. Rerun the pipeline and then see if ParaView can load
the .xdmf file.

Notes: Please use ParaView version 5.3 or 5.4. When opening the XDMF
file DO NOT USE either of the XDMF Version 3 readers. Those have issues.
The correct reader to use is typically the first one that shows in the
list that ParaView presents.

Hi,

Thank you

I suggest you try the following:
Open the DREAM.3D Toolbox, Click on the Bookmarks Tab. Then open the
following path:

Prebuilt Pipelines->Workshop->Reconstruction->(08)Image Initial
Visualization

Double click on the "(08)Image Initial Visualization" pipeline file to
load it into DREAM.3D.
Click the "Start Pipeline" button.
Open the .xdmf file in ParaView.

Within ParaView ensure your settings match those of the image provided.
Pay close attention to what the orange arrows are pointing to.

You should be able to see your data.

You may also want to look up some short tutorials on using ParaView at
http://www.paraview.org

Looks like you are only importing a single slice (a single image file)
of your stack of images. Can you confirm the starting and ending slice
values in the Import Image Stack filter?

yes, this is another problem when I import images pipline issues wants the slice_0 that I first in my images change the 1 to 0 for first slice and in (11 t0 174) change padding digit to 1 that the button became green.
