I am looking at a new dataset with the EBSD data in the .ctf format.

I am segmenting MTRs from Titanium data but I am not sure my pipeline is working as it should with this data.

The pipeline I normally run has a confidence index parameter which creates a mask used in other filters. However, the input data from this EBSD data doesn't have the confidence index and I am wondering if any of these variables are similar like Error and MAD?

Thanks

Dave :)

With CTF data you can certainly use the ERROR value where ERROR=0 means that Aztec was able to find a solution. Any other value of ERROR means that there was an issue with that scan point. I would first try to substitute using ERROR=0 in the multithresholds filter and see if that works for that data set.

If that proves not to be enough then you can move onto the MAD or BS parameters to try and filter on those values.

Thanks Mike

I can get it to run fine minus 1 or 2 filters which doesn't seem to impact the results much. However, when I run this in Paraview, it looks ok, but the variables I am looking at say (partial) next to it and I am not sure what that means.

I cannot remember what the “Partial” means in ParaView… Sorry about that. Can you view the data in DREAM3D-NX?
