Hello!
Dream3D defines the kernel radius as follows (
http://127.0.0.1:32456/Filters/OrientationAnalysisFilters/FindKernelAvgMisorientations/index.html):
This Filter determines the Kernel Average Misorientation (KAM) for each Cell. The user can select the size of the kernel to be used in the calculation. The kernel size entered by the user is the radius of the kernel (i.e., entering values of 1, 2, 3 will result in a kernel that is 3, 5, and 7 Cellsin size in the X, Y and Z directions, respectively).
Given this, I don't quite understand what the kernel radius values mean in Dream3D. For example, what does it mean when a value of 1 in the kernel radius equals a kernel size of 3?
Thank you!
