About smoothing a pixelated visualized data

Hi

I have imported a Lab-DCT data set into Dream.3d-NX, by filter "Read Grain3dmapper3d file". The visualized data seem to be pixelated, so in order to sooth its surfaces I have tried using the filter "create surface mesh", so that I can latter apply a smoothing filter. However, when attempting to visualize this created Mesh, the program suddenly closes (video attached). Do you know the reason for this problem ?

Note: applying filter "create geometry" before the filter "create surface mesh" did not help
