[ANNOUNCE] DREAM3D-NX 7.4.1 Released — Faster Charting, Mini Histograms, Image Cropping & More

We are pleased to announce the release of DREAM3D-NX version 7.4.1, now available for download at https://www.dream3d.io/Download/.

This release includes a number of new features and improvements focused on visualization, usability, and performance:

## Visualization & Charting

  - Completely rewritten 2D plotting engine for significantly faster charting, now with SVG export for publication-ready figures

  - New mini histogram view — display histograms of active data directly in the visualization window

  - Interactive orientation widget — click the orientation marker to snap to specific camera angles instantly

  - Enhanced color spreadsheet with auto-column sizing and colored backgrounds

## Data & Workflow

  - Image stack cropping during import — crop image stacks as they are read, saving time and memory

  - 2D slice view linking — synchronize slice numbers across multiple 2D image/slice views

  - Per-geometry default data views — configure your preferred Data View type for each geometry through preferences

  - Double-click text and caption annotations to edit them directly

  - Five new filters added

## Under the Hood

  - Performance optimizations across multiple filters

  - Automatic decimation for visualization data

  - Updated to Qt 6.9 and VTK 9.5
