Creating realistic microstructure from EBSD data

Hi everyone,

I would like to generate a 2D realistic microstructure (one phase) with one element in the thickness direction from EBSD data as an input file for Abaqus.

I really appreciate it if you could guide me on this. Moreover, I need to exactly know how Dream3D generates the microstructure. I am wondering if you can share some documents with me.
