xdmf file to abaqus

hi all,

i am karthik here a new user for Dream3d software. 

i already created a micro structure model using dream 3D software and i would like to export this file into abaqus for further simulation work. 

From some the forum i found out that i can use- Abaqus Hexahedron Export filter to do that. but i do not know how to do this. i mean the steps of exporting xdmf file to abaqus. can anyoone teach the steps one by one.

Dear Karthik,

     The basic workflow is to perform the reconstruction inside of DREAM.3D and then the last filter inside of DREAM.3D would be the “Export Abaqus Hexahedron” which will write .inp files that Abaqus can read.
