Hi,

Can anyone help me identify the grain ID number?

For example: Here is the FeatureData of 5 grains

I need to specify Euler Angles to the respective grains; I'm not able to identify which grain is which in the final geometry.
For 5 grains, it is easier because it is just 5, and based on volume and the number of neighbours, I can identify them.
For a large number of grains, say 50, it will be impossible doing this way.

Is there any easier way of doing this?

My other question is --
Finally, I need the rotated stiffness matrix of individual grains. That is why I require to identify every grain - use their Euler Angles and rotate the stiffness matrix accordingly. If this technique is directly available on Dream.3D let me know.

Thanks.

The “FeatureID” is the “Grain ID”. Are you wanting a better way to “Visually”, i.e. within ParaView, identify each grain?

I don’t think there is a filter that can rotate a stiffness matrix by Euler Angles. You will need to perform this outside of DREAM.3D at this point in time.
