Error Code -110

Hi Mike,

I can't seem to get a .ang file to load in Dream 3D. When I click "Set Reference Frame" in the "Import Orientation File(s) to H5EBSD" filter I get an error message of "There was an error reading the .ang file...The error code returned was -110"

The google group message won't let me upload the file (I get an unspecified error), but here is the header and first few lines:

There are 1500*1501 = 2251500 points total. Not knowing what error -110 means, I tried manually adjusting the header to match the header of the example files in "...\SmallIN100\Slice-1.ang" and got the same error.

I'm wondering if the scan is just too large for Dream3D to handle?

Any thoughts?

Dear Oliver,

   Which version of DREAM.3D are you using? And can you send me the .ang file off list? Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Box.. any are acceptable.

There is no “X-Step” and “Y-Step” in the header. 

What version of OIM Analysis did this come from?

I'm not sure what version of OIM analysis was used (a student did the scan for me), but given our relationship with TSL, I would be surprised if it wasn't the most up to date version.

I tried manually editing the header to include the XSTEP, YSTEP etc. and I got the same error.

and this was attempted with Dream3D 6.5.128 on Windows 10.
