3D microstructure from 2D map

Hi all,

A simple question. Can we create a 3D EBSD map from a single 2D EBSD map, or we need several slices to create a 3D map?

The methods to create a 3D simulation from 2D data is still being researched. Take a look in recent literature for those methods. None are implemented in DREAM.3D yet.
