How to convert ctf to H5EBSD file

Hi does anyone know how to convert .ctf file to H5EBSD format so that i can export this file to Abaqus for further analysis. Ultimately i am also planning to do a CPFEM analysis in DAMASK software.

I appreciate if anyone can guide me on this.

Dear Karthik,

If you only have a single EBSD file then you can use the filter “Import Oxford (CTF)” or something like that to read in the EBSD data. You will probably want to try to clean up the data, segment it and then use one of the Abaqus export filters to generate the Abaqus file.
