The AB540/Dream Act Workshop that will be held this Saturday at Downey High School. This workshop is geared for all students in the city of Downey that would benefit from the information. Downey High, very kindly, has invited our students to attend. I will be there as well and encourage any of you that would like to show support for our students. Do not feel obligated in any way. I just want you to know that you are invited as well.
The goal of the workshop is to educate and motivate students and their families about how to reach higher levels of education and create resolutions to the application process and financial assistance.
UCLA IDEAS will also be there to assist students with financial aid applications.
