I created a very simple line dynamo using the "Build Dynamo Expert",
deleted the working copy and used the dynamo in several places over
the past few days. In some instances I modified the length of the
line.
Late I modified the dynamo, incremented the dynamo version number and
used the "Dynamo Update" to upgrade the lines I had made using this
dynamo.
All of the lines with modified lengths reverted back to the original
length. I talked with Emerson Tech Support and they told me this is
the way it works.
The ps_datasource.CurrentValue and ps_datasource.InitialValue does not
revert back to the dynamo's value. I would expect the length, in this
case it is "Width", to not change.
This is a little surprising to me, has anyone had a similar
experience? Is there a work around or some other way to approach
this?
