Change reference point of expanded and collapsed shape

Hi all,

when you set position and size of a shape in collapsed and expanded view the reference point for both is the upper left corner. Is there a way to influence that? i don't like the rerouting of connections docking on the  midddle left point, when the shape is expanded.
