Using Draaw.io with Wiki in secure environment

Hi all

Where I work we are looking to find a tool that we can use for diagramming our technical system and business processes.

Obviously we don't want to be doing this "online" as that creates compliance, privacy, security issue.

Our thought is perhaps we could use draw.io in conjunction with our local wiki install.   But it appears to me that if we use the draw.io app you can't save to wiki itself.   

Just looking for some general guidance.

I'm not sure what we have currently - I'd have to ask the owners of it.   

I'm hoping that we can do a new wiki install for this.   Since our old one is just a big mess and after several attempts at cleaning it up, it's still  a big mess.

Let's say for sake of argument that I could get the latest version of mediawiki installed for use.

To perhaps clarify my thoughts a bit more, it looks like if you install the draw.io extension that it connects to the draw.io website for your diagramming.  That's where security concerns would come into play.

Perhaps we could do an internal install of draw.io somehow and hook the extension into that.

Try https://www.bookstackapp.com/ . It's pretty popular and has a version of draw.io built-in.
