Is there a simple way to format bullets in drawio?

I would like to reduce the large space Drawio automatically inserts in front of bullets in text boxes and in shapes. I have found a work around by creating the bulleted list in a text box and then superimposing it over the shape. Alternatively, bulleted lists in boxes can be moved closer to the left hand margin by changing the global spacing to a negative number e.g. -18. This only works if all the text in the box is bulleted (not if you have a lead sentence followed by the bulleted list). Is there a simpler way to format bullets?
