Hi all, hoping someone may have some insight to an issue I'm having with text created in Draw.io not being exported as vectors, instead it seems to be exported as an image.
First though, a bit of a backstory into what I'm trying to achieve: I am creating cable construction drawings for a product I make that shows not only the physical layout of the cable, but also the electrical connections via a block diagram. All of the physical stuff is created in Solidworks and the block diagram is done in Draw.io as I find it great for creating easily understandable line drawings and text defining what signal is what. What I want to do is put the block diagram into the Solidworks drawing before exporting the whole shebang as a PDF to send the customers. The issue is that Solidworks does not accept SVG files, only DXFs so I thought why not just convert them in Inkscape and then insert the resultant DXF. The issue I am finding though is that whilst all of the linework is exported as vectors, the text is exported as images which means Inkscape cannot process them and I get lovely DXF line drawings but without the text which kinda defeats the purpose. I've tried exporting as PDFs and then converting those to DXFs, but it appears the same issue is happening. Apparently according to an article I read there should be an option to specify how text is treated in a SVG export, but for the life of me I cannot see the option to treat it as a vector.
Is there any way to get the text in Draw.io to export as a vector? (Any other cunning workarounds that you fine people may like to suggest are also welcome).
