Textsize does not affect indices in math mode

Greetings, I activated the math mode and entered a formula. As I change the font size, i realise, that the size of the index does not change...

I don't see the problem you see (see attached file). I used the same LaTex formula you used, namely $$ P_{2,2}$$ (except that I added \text{24 pt. } or \text{12 pt. } to clarify the differece.To be clear: I change the font size by selecting the formula, then clicking the "text" tab, and changing the font size in the font size box. Is this what you do?

Oh I just saw, I didn't say that it does not work for small font sizes like 1 to 10, sry. 🤦‍♂️

I believe this is a Latex issue, not an issue with draw.io. I'm not sure what the Latex rules are for subscript size relative to font size, or how these are implemented in draw.io.  But - as an example - if the smallest subscript size is 7 point, then that would account for why you see the issue you point out.
