I've created a background page, which I apply to all of the standard content pages in a drawing.  After I apply the background page to a primary page, I see the correct behavior.  The primary page is now shown as content and objects, superimposed over the background page, just as you would expect.
However, when I print any page, or all pages, the background image is not rendered on all of the pages to which it was applied.
This appears to be a defect.

Hi,

Are you using online or desktop app? Which version? Can be seen under Help.
Did you use File > Print > Print all pages?

Is it working in other browsers and Incognito mode?
Does File > Export as  PDF > Save as PDF/Print to PDF help?

I am using the Desktop app.
I did discover the feature you mentioned, which is the ability to save as PDF.  I had been using the File>Print function, and printing to the Microsoft PDF Rendering driver.
Using the new method, I'm afraid that I'm getting almost the exact same result.
Using the File>Export as PDF function allows the parameters of Layout=Landscape be embedded without needing to verride it, but the new PDF is still not rendered with the border that comes from the Background page.

Were you ever able to resolve this issue?

I've followed these directions to create a "Frame" page intended to appear on all other pages of my file, then set it as the background image for a different page.

Whether I use File→Export As→PDF... or File→Print... I get the same result - the frame doesn't appear in the rendered output.

Looks like there is an existing Github Issue #713 for this, and it's still present as of 20.3.0 (version I'm running).

Thanks,
Dave

Is it possible to attach the file so we can check what went wrong?

Here is a test file that shows the issue, and the generated PDF output.

When generating the PDF, the dialog box print range was set to print "Page 1 to 2" and the "Include a copy of my diagram" box was checked. The generated PDF still has 3 pages.

Thanks,
Dave

Is this something I can place a bounty on or somehow support funding the fix?

Thanks,
Dave
