Updating embedded diagrams in Microsoft 365 PowerPoint

I'm experimenting with embedding draw.io diagrams in PowerPoint. I downloaded the add-in, and then, once I got the add-in working, I embedded a draw.io diagram stored on my hard drive.  I edited the diagram in the draw.io app, and now I want to update it. Is updating possible for diagrams stored on my hard drive? There is no "update selected" button on the toolbar.
