Hello,

I have been using drawio to produce a P&ID for my dissertation. It had countless days of work and effort put in. Today whilst I was editing my file, it suddenly shut down and when I tried to retrieve it, then it says 'Not a diagram file'. When I click the information on the file, it says there are zero bytes. The laptop I did my work on is macOS 10.15.6.

Below I have attached my file

Please can anyone help me to recover it?

Hi,

I don't see the file you attached. Could you re-atach it please?
Which desktop version are you using?

Could you check if you able to find ~${FILENAME}.bkp in the system?
Do you see older versions of the file when you right mouse click the file > Properties > Previous versions?

Thanks,

Hello,

I think it is because the file is zero bytes that it isn't showing up. However, I will attach it again. Please let me know if it works

I was using 14.1.8 when I first made the P&ID, but now I have updated the version to 16.5.1

I'm trying to attach a screenshot of the properties of the file but it does not let me because the message is too long. But no I cannot see any older versions or any file with bkp on it
