Is there a way of importing a pdf file or svg file in draw.io

Hi,

PDF document import is not supported. If you create a diagram and export it as PDF (with "Include a copy of diagram" ticket) that PDF can be re-imported.

draw.io supports inserting SVG images as described here: https://drawio.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/16000032725-insert-svg-images-into-a-diagram 

Note: You cannot import an SVG representation of a diagram and edit it as a diagram. SVG does not save the connector information needed to be able to determine which elements are shapes and which are connectors.
