bullets indent and dedent

Hello there,

I'm trying to have a rectangle with text that has indenting and dedenting while in text entry, but the keyboard mapping to the tab key by the draw.io program exits the text entry. Any work arounds for this?

Use the indent button in the text panel:

Sorry forgot to mention I'm interested in not having to use a mouse to increase the indent, is there a text input window, or a changing of a tab shortcut? It seems like tab and escape don't both need to do the "exit text entry" part.

I checked, the problem is the tab is ignored in HTML as it's "normaliized", ie. spaces are removed. We could use tab/shift+tab as shortcuts to indent I think.

That sounds promising, is the shift+tab thing a configuration step that I can perform on my own somehow?

This is not configurable, but (Alt+)Shift+Tab will be added for outdent/indent while editing in the next release.
