Hello.
My company is moving to Office 365 and at the moment I have both a corporate Google account and an O365 account.
Draw.io works fine with my corporate google account's google drive storage.
Draw.io does not work with my corporate O365 account and it seems that the issue lies in the authentication routine
draw.io uses from MSFT's
live.com when specifying onedrive.
For my corporate O365 account generally my experience is when I enter my email with my corporate domain I am redirected based on that email account to a different login protocol that accepts my AD password when I am on network and adds a multi-factor-authentication routine when I am off network. I think that the
draw.io live.com interface assumes that the onedrive account is a microsoft managed account and can only authentication username + password directly, as it does not honor this protocol when I simply enter my email account.
I don't believe this is a shortcoming of my corporate authentication configuration, rather it seems that perhaps there is a different
live.com authentication interface that
draw.io could opt to use that would be equipped to handle federated 'corporate' authentication schemes rather than assume all
live.com accounts are fully MSFT managed.
Draw.io would be a welcome addition to our toolbox with O365 since we are losing Google Drawings in our move. Could you please look into supporting corporate/federated authentication schemes with O365 + OneDrive for
draw.io?
Thank you,
Mark
