Hi,

I am new here, and enjoying Draw.IO, so hello to all.

Is it possible to create a link to another page within the Draw.IO model. I can see that it is possible to link to external file, but not "pages". Interestingly this is possible with LucidChart. I am trying to find the best way to drill down from a Level 0 model to lower level, more detailed process models via SubProcess shapes. I am using BPMN. At present, as far as I can see one has to:

1) Add a SubProcess shape to the Level 0 diagram.
2) Create a Level 1 diagram, perhaps called "Level 1 Process"
3) Return to Level 0 diagram, add link to "Level 1 Process" file which in my case is via Google+ since I use GoogleDocs.

The above is doable, but a little clunky in my view. Using "Pages" within a diagram for the subprocesses would be far easier, hence my question.

Ideally one would like to a see a "Create Diagram and Link" option against the SubProcess shape.

I may have missed something about how to drilldown, so feel free to advise.

Many thanks in advance,

Ed

Perhaps we are missing a button called "Page" alongside "Google+", "Dropbox", "OneDrive" within the "Edit Link" option. At present I believe this is my best option of linking shapes to a child diagram although it does require me to create the child file first to link to it.

Links to pages are not are not yet supported, but it's on the TODO list and should be available soon(ish).

Oh yes, this is a very useful feature if available. Gaudenz, any idea by when this would be available.

Try Edit, Edit Link and use the page dropdown box.

I have found it very easy to add a working URL link to another page within the Draw.io editor app, but I am having trouble once I publish the document.

If I embed an iframe in an html document, I can see the different pages, but the HTML link is not there that would link me to the other subpage. Is there something I'm missing to get this functionality?

Thanks,
Kevin

I think I've figured it out. You have to be careful to add a link to the Flowchart Object while it is selected, not while selecting the "text" of the Flowchart Object. Highlighting the text of the object, then inserting a link, was not getting the desired "click on object and go to another page." This page helped me become enlightened. https://about.draw.io/draw-io-training-exercise-8-add-links-and-tooltips/
