I recently started playing with Draw.io.  I love it.  However, something happened part-way through the design of a diagram which caused some objects to become uneditable.  I cannot change the text, rotate, detete, etc.  Strangely, I can still change color and other object-format features.  Usually, when clicking on an object to activate it, you get several (6) blue dots (i.e., handles).  For the objects that don't have handles, clicking on them simply provides a faint dotted frame around it.

There is a lock/unlock function (Ctrl+L), maybe you locked those cells by accident? If not, if you attach the diagram we can check what's going on.

Wonderful!! I'm not at my computer at the moment, but I'll give it a try right away. Thank for your time and suggestion!

SOLVED !!     Gaudenz Alder, you were absolutely correct.   I don't know how and I don't know when, but at some point along the way, I locked the objects. I have no recollection of locking the objects through the 'Edit Menu' > 'Lock / Unlock', but it is possible that I instinctually clicked "Ctrl + L" when attempting to left-justify some text.  Again, I'm new to this and failed to fully appreciate the different consequences for the use of common shortcut keys.   Thank you so much!  You saved me from having to re-design an entire diagram.  Very much appreciated.
