Can't open drawio file

Hello,

My laptop crashed while I was making a diagram that has been saved to my computer. I frequently save this diagram. 

I now can't open this file and I get this error: "error loading file - not a diagram file".

This has happened to me twice now, and I've lost many hours of work on a software architecture diagram.

Sorry to hear this. What version of the app were you using when this happened? Is there a .bkp file in that folder?
