Importing XML file

I saved my diagram locally to XML and I need to edit it so I tried to Open it as an existing diagram but gets an error that the XML file is not a diagram file. So I tried to import it but after loading the page still remains blank. I tried opening it from Google Drive but still no luck. How can I recover my diagram?

What exact steps did you use to save this file, please? What browser and operating system are you using? If you create a new file with just a rectangle and save that, can you open that via File, Open from, Device (if not, please attach the file)?

The problem is that all XML in the file is lowercase, which is invalid. Please find attached is a corrected copy of the file. Please answer the above questions to help us resolve this problem in case there is an error in the software, as this is a critical bug. Thanks in advance!

The corrected file works. Thank you so much for this. I didn't know that the cases are relevant.

Anyway for the info 

Browser: Opera 53.0.2907.99

System: Windows 7 64-bit

I saved the file to Device. File > Save. 

When I tried opening the saved XML from my device, it shows the following error

Thanks for the detailed report. I just tried witih Opera 53.0.2907.99 (and 53.0.2907.106, the current version) on Windows 7 and Windows 10 (64bit) by creating a rectangle with some text and saving it via File, Save then clicking on Download or Device, both are working as expected and the file can be opened. Are you able to repeat this problem? If yes, what are the exact steps please?
