Draw.io with REST API Calls

I want to know whether I can access draw.io programmatically. For instance via REST API calls. Basically, I want to make Architectural Diagrams via REST API calls.

so basically, when we export diagram from Draw.io , we need to create that file somhow via API calls or need to know the format for the same so that we can create that file and when imported ,we can see diagram

I don't understand the specifics, you want to auto generate an image of the created diagram?
