Error loading file !

The windows shutdowns shuddenly (power is down) when opening a drawio file .

After that, this file is corrupted and cannot open with the error message " error on line 1 at column 1: Document is empty".

Can you guide me to fix this error? many important graphs in there

Hi,

did you use diagrams.net online or desktop version, please? Also check version under Help in the editor.

Where was the file saved?

If there is no sensitive data, is it possible to attach the diagram file here so we could test it?

Hey guys, I have the same problem since this morning. File I have been working on for a few days will not load, it keeps showing "Error loading file" I worked on it online and I tried the desktop version too and it's the same thing. If you can send me a private email so I can send you the file if you can check it out please.

could you please submit all the details with drawio file to https://drawio.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk/projects/DND/queues/custom/83 please?

We basically shouldn't use private emails because the replies should be seen by whole community (they might help someone)

When it comes to sensitive data as in your case, just submit all to the link given above.

Meanwhile, check Drive revision history. Both Google Drive and OneDrive have it and hopefully you'll find versions you will be able to download and reopen it.

I can not, cause it shows me that that the file even the one I download, " Error loading file - Not a diagram file", and I did nothing to the file and I was working on it for a week in the same tab opened on the browser. I will attached it here cause when I try to open the link from you email it shows me that the email I use for drawio has no access to Jira. Please see attached and inspect it, cause I would be super nice if I did not have to write everything again :)

Thanks for the file. Unfortunately, the file is filled with zeros only even it is not empty. We are not able to tell what exactly has happened, but for sure we would like to investigate this more

and prevent this from happening again.

I added your issue here: https://github.com/jgraph/drawio/issues/2126 so you can track and comment.

Could you add to the GitHub issue the following comments:

* drawio version you used (can be seen under Help in the editor)

* did you use diagrams.net

* browser version and operating system

* is anything unexpected happen as the user above reported? power down, system crash, anything you noticed it was unusual etc.
