Is it possible to run external scripts from drawio?

Let's say I have drawio embedded in my own web server and I would like to be able to click on a shape and that should make a call to a backend script or to an API (ex REST API)

Is this possible ?

Would also want to know... if it's possible to connect with OpenAI over API... i found a Github with API but it's for Javascript..

Not easily, you'd have to change code.
