Seershi here! I am from NJ (US). I work as a Data Technician, but also am a part-time artist. I am currently exploring the intersection of these two worlds of data and art, and accidently stumbled upon the Dear Data initiative. 

No, you are not sounding cringey at all! In fact, I find your desire to be able to visualize aspects of your everyday life very relatable. Numbers, statistics, these are things that can be seen and gauged. But what about ambiguous data like emotions: anger, sadness, happiness, frustration - how do you capture that? Maybe through writing or drawing, or maybe you need a more complex apparatus to do so. I would love to explore these questions with you.
