| 🦋 Fifteen years of building community with rural artists
Fifteen years ago, Springboard for the Arts opened its doors in downtown Fergus Falls as a small meeting and resource space for local artists. Since then, it has grown into a nationally recognized hub for rural art and community development—bringing together thousands of artists across the Midwest, supporting creative careers, launching groundbreaking programs, and partnering with communities to embed arts and culture into everyday life.
Last week, we gathered with Springboard’s Rural Regenerator Fellows, local artists, neighbors, friends, and supporters to kick off our 15th year in Fergus Falls. Our hearts are full from such a joyful gathering, and we are looking forward to more opportunities to celebrate and reflect throughout the year. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us, and here’s to the next fifteen years! |

This year, we began hosting a monthly Creative Community Coffee Club at our Fergus Falls office, inviting neighbors to enjoy coffee and each other’s company while working on a craft project. | Springboard offices in Fergus Falls and Saint Paul will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observation of Juneteenth.
Our offices will also be closed from Monday, June 29–Friday, July 3 for a summer break.
As a reminder, Springboard’s Saint Paul location is undergoing some construction this summer to make our space even more welcoming and easy to navigate. During construction, our building is open regular hours (Tuesday–Friday, 10am–4:30pm). Our parking lot off University Ave remains open with limited spaces, plus metered and free street parking is also available in our surrounding neighborhood. |
