After researching past procedure with Ryan, Sebastien, Andrew and myself have come up with the following strategy to determine the bar tip out for the day time Backserver during the winter/spring season: Please advice your staff so this is clear with everyone involved.
•Backserver working day shift on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Kitchen is closed)- No bar tip out unless tips are greater than $50 (combined credit and cash amount). If tips are greater than $50, daytime Bartender MUST confirm that the Backserver was needed in order to earn the $50+ tips. Backserver will receive .5 point out of Thursday nights tip pool
•Backserver working day shift on Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Kitchen is open)- No bar tip out unless tips are greater than $50 (combined credit and cash amount). If tips are greater than $50 AND only if there is NO waitress staffed during the day, Backserver will be tipped out 1 point if he contributed to the $50+tips
