It is the end of days. The horrors of the Mythos run free in a future America where civilisation has collapsed following a nuclear civil war. That war was won by a new American Reich that controls the Eastern seaboard. It is led by an ancient evil and controlled by the Karotechia whose plans will see the world once again become the battleground of the Great Old Ones and the Outer Gods.
Yet there is still a small, dim hope. A very thin green line. You have been transported through time to offer resistance in humanity's twilight. You have a base and access to the most modern military equipment of the modern era. You are supported by a few of the world's best soldiers and insurgency specialists. Delta Green and Majestic have regrouped. It's a small candle, a waning flame in the oncoming darkness but as long as it's lit, maybe, just maybe there is hope...
Cthulhu Next/Delta Green/Cthulhutech Campaign seeks players who can see themselves enjoying character driven roleplay in a post apocalyptic cocktail with a large dash of Lovecraftian horror and a squeeze of sci-fi juice thrown in. Monday evening game, currently consisting of one GM and three players, but room to add new player characters, or allow people to adopt existing NPCs at a moment's notice. Given the origin story, characters will mostly be expected to be contemporary (as in: 2014) military personnel, with a mix of scientists, hackers, mercenaries, and career criminals potentially thrown in. We are using the Delta Green (Call of Cthulhu 6th Edition) rules but knowledge of the system is really not required – attitude, bad puns and a willingness to face hard odds is!
