Tuesday Nights - Pathfinder - Availability for Players

We've had a bit of a shuffle round for the new year on the Tuesday nights.  As such Ian is starting a new Pathfinder campaign and is currently looking for players.  As he has yet to sign up to the Google Group I am posting this on his behalf but I expect him to be along shortly to add some additional flourish to this message.

Hello there,

I am Ian, and I am planning on running a pathfinder game. New and experienced alike are welcome. I currently have 3 players, and I am looking for up to 3 more. The exact setting is currently unpicked, but this coming Tuesday I plan on doing character creation and picking the exact setting. It will feature a good amount of action and adventure, but depending on the group gathered, other elements will become more important.

My current ideas for setting are: 

-High Seas adventure

-Court intrigue (I have an Asian culture inspired one already written)

-Exploration of a new continent

-More traditional fantasy fare

All of them will be interesting, and if you have another idea, feel free to bring it up on Tuesday

For the gritty details- If you want to make a character before you arrive, my character creations rules are like this:

Stat block: You get, in any order, 18, 16, 14, 12, 12, 10.

Level 3

If you want a level adjusted race, it has to pass approval

Starting Gold: 3000 Gp

No restrictions on base classes, but I will have to approve the character (just to make sure everyone has roughly similarly powerful characters)

Actually, I'm particularly keen to join this group. Could you please consider me as your 5th player ?

Please advise when the group is due to meet for the first time, even to run through character options/campaign setting etc.

Hello there Alex

Welcome aboard as the 5th player. I will be starting character creation on the 21st of January, although I encourage you to look at the pathfinder srd and decide on the general kind of character you would like, with the character creation rules I have posted in mind. The party currently has a bard, a wizard or summoner and a wizard or rogue. The group can have multiple people be the class, so choose one you like. My only suggestion to to be of the neutral to good range of alignments- it will work better in this party. 

Do you have some pathfinder or 3.5 experience under your belt? It is not required, but most of my players have played in 3.0 or 3.5, but are new to pathfinder.

For both you and Alex, I will be the gentleman with long hair, a ponytail and some facial hair. There won't be too many groups, so it shouldn't be too hard to find me on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the pub.
