I tried checking out the subversion repo for dragongoserver to see if
there were some sample scripts and such in there yet.

The result was sadness:

[dbroders@BEEF repos]$ svn co svn://rubyforge.org/var/svn/dragongoserver/trunk
svn: URL 'svn://rubyforge.org/var/svn/dragongoserver/trunk' doesn't
exist
[dbroders@BEEF repos]$ svn co svn://rubyforge.org/var/svn/dragongoserver/
Checked out revision 0.
[dbroders@BEEF repos]$ cd dragongoserver/
[dbroders@BEEF dragongoserver]$ ls
[dbroders@BEEF dragongoserver]$

----

It also appears the 'choice' gem is not a dependency in the
dragongoserver gem. I had to gem install that after trying to run
dgs.

---

My goal for using the dragongoserver gem is make my rbot (ruby irc
bot) announce in an IRC channel when it is my turn.

Thanks for the gem!

no, there is no  subversion repository for this gem. I thought there is no need for a repository. All the files are contented if you install it with 'gem install...'.

sorry,  that was missing. It will be fixed in the next release.

My goal for using the dragongoserver gem is make my rbot (ruby irc
bot) announce in an IRC channel when it is my turn.

that should be easy: instead of displaying only the waiting games with the commandline options --waiting/--osd there should be a call to a method/script which   triggers your bot.

Maybe i can implement that a user-defined method or script is called when there are waiting games.

Is there something you have missed?
