Script to kill Dragon

I'm sure we have all dealt with Dragon NaturallySpeaking freezing up, or NatLink not hooking up upon Dragon start due to a hung process.

Does anyone have a script out there that seeks and destroys all relevant Dragon processes?

Just thought I'd ask before I start looking into it myself.

One way to deal with Dragon freezing up is to use speechstart+. It uses its own speech recognition engine so that you can turn off or restart Dragon when Dragon is frozen; you can also use it to restart or turn off your computer by voice. It also allows you to turn on Dragon by voice. It also has a few other features like numbering of buttons. I believe it's about US$35 with a 15 day free trial. Another thing I like about is that you can turn on the microphone by voice when it's fully off (rather than just asleep) and you can adjust the sensitivity of the command for turning on the microphone – normally you have to say wake up very loudly in Dragon which is annoying to me but speech start allows you to say microphone on very quietly if you want to.206

Hello Ryan,

Caster has a reboot dragon script. It kills natspeak.exe, dgnuiasvr_x64.exe, dnsspserver.exe and dragonbar.exe.

If you want it to reboot dragon for you, you need to either manually give it the path to natspeak.exe or modify it to start that for you. The file is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking15\Program for me.
