While this is not strictly dragonfly related, the users of this community are going to have similar needs to mine so I'm asking here.

I'm relatively happy with my current microphone set up. I use an XLR to USB adapter and an XLR microphone. However, there are so many wires!

Does anyone have a wireless microphone that provides good accuracy and speedy voice recognition with Dragon? (One of the biggest improvements I noticed when switching from the bargain barrel USB microphone to this XLR solution was how much more quickly Dragon recognized my voice commands, so I definitely don't want to lose that. The delay went from perhaps half a second to one or 2/10 of a second.)

Thanks for any input. I linked my XLR adapter and microphone below just for reference.

Thanks,
-Ryan

Hello Ryan,
I do not have an answer to your question. I tried using  several wireless mic through Bluetooth, but always found the voice dictation performance to be very poor. I would be very interested in knowing the answer to your question too and I hope someone from the forum has a suggestion. wishing you the best, Matt

H Ryan, I use this:  https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Bluetooth-Single-sided-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B07B9TF3S7/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?gclid=CjwKCAiA27LvBRB0EiwAPc8XWZWvAsnXyOKVD9V2fHlVuNVTOJmXoa1y8aMlPMOdMarrPoBY0nLWeBoC_bkQAvD_BwE&hvadid=174220599797&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9031951&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=3111119469576281125&hvtargid=kwd-78759611233&hydadcr=24656_9648981&keywords=sennheiser+mb+pro+1&qid=1575853538&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExR1NVM1U2RFFLRlI3JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTM4ODE1MzJSTU5HU0hBTkJDUiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMjU5NDE0MU5VQzFZWUVQNzRHUyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

... not cheap, but I find it works very well, and doubles for use as a phone headset etc. It comes with its own dongle, which I gather is necessary because the inbuilt bluetooth functionality for most computers is crap.

Best,
Greg

Gregory,

It is great to hear the  Sennheiser works well.  I have gone through two of them.  Neither lasted very long.  I could not get it to work with a digital phone.  I found it challenging to get customer support and useful warranty services.

Best Regards,

Ray
