I am currently working with an AIS (AI Image Sensor), specifically the AIS01-LB (LoRaWAN AI Image Recognition End Node), and I am experiencing issues when trying to update the firmware and correctly read a long dial meter.

Setup details:

  • OTA Tool Version: 2.2.1
  • COM Port: COM5
  • Baudrate: 921600
  • Chip: QFN72
  • Protocol: UART
  • Target Firmware: Pointer dial firmware

Issue:
The sensor is connected to a long pointer dial (analog type), but the readings are incorrect or sometimes not detected at all. Based on the documentation, I attempted to update the firmware to the pointer dial version.

Actions performed:

  • Attempted firmware upgrade using Force Upgrade

  • Tried Intoupg → Force Upgrade

  • Tried GPIO5 HIGH + Intoupg → Force Upgrade

  • Tried GPIO5 LOW + Intoupg → Force Upgrade

Error received in all cases:
"check sum error / No data receive!! / ret:0 result"

Additionally, the sensor does not respond to commands such as:

  • GetVersion
  • GetStatus
  • Read Chip ID

Request:
Could you please advise:

  1. If this sensor model supports firmware upgrade via UART using the AUC USB converter
  2. If there is a specific procedure required to enter upgrade/bootloader mode
  3. Any recommendations to correctly configure the sensor for long pointer dial readings

Thank you in advance for your support.
