Hello everyone,

I am using a WQS-CB Water Quality Sensor node together with an EC-K1 conductivity probe. After updating to the latest firmware, I noticed that the payload now temperature (EC_Temp) values.

However, the EC_Temp reading appears to be incorrect. It consistently reports a much higher temperature (value around 56.6) and does not react to changes in the actual water temperature. For comparison, a separate temperature probe placed in the same water measures around 20.1 °C. I have verified that the EC_K1 probe is properly connected and submerged and EC_K1 readings appear normal and stable.

Could anyone confirm whether the EC_Temp parameter is intented to represent the probe’s water temperature, or if it could be reporting another internal temperature (e.g., devic temperature)? The firmware changelog mentions "1. pH, do, orp added temperature data.", it does not explicitly reference EC. However, the EC_Temp field only appeared after the firmware update, so I would like to clarify whether this value is expected for the EC probe or if it may indicate a firmware issue or a possible fault with the probe.

Attached is a screenshot showing EC_K1 and EC_Temp values over the last two days for reference.

Regards
Rajan
