Problem with resetting the Dragino LPS8v2

We attempted to factory reset the Dragino LPS8v2 using three different methods, but none of them were successful.

1.        

Dragino > System > Reboot / Reset > Reset to Factory Default. DOES NOT WORK

(System comes back online but with the same settings, nothing changed)


2.

In the manuel they say you need to reset the ChripStack. But also this doesn’t seem to work.

“Users need to click "Reset" on the Server-->NetServer interface, ChirpStack will be reset.”  DOES NOT WORK


3.

The manual states that the device can be reset using the reset button on the back. However, we tried this multiple times without success, including the following approaches:

  • Holding the button for 10 seconds.

  • Holding the button for more than 30 seconds.

  • Pressing and holding the button before powering on the system, waiting for four blinks, and then releasing the button.

Hi,

1.When you click reset, does the ETH LED bright blue?
What configurations have you set up on LPS8v2?Can you take a screenshot and share it with us?

2.Did you click on the built-in server reset and chirpstack didn't shut down and clear all the configurations?
 Can you take screenshots and System -->Package Management interface for us to check?
3.

The second and third methods are only applicable to LPS8N, LG308N, DLOS8N, and not to LPS8v2

Hi,

The LPS8v2 reset feature will not reset the two built-in servers
When the gateway restores the factory settings is complete,
The WiFi configuration will enable WiFi Access Point by default.
The other configuration will be restored to the default configuration.
If you need to reset the built-in chirpstack, you can click Reset on the Server-->Network Server interface.

Hello Kilight,

thaks for your quick replay. 

After I operate the reset button for 15 seconds then the blue and green LED flash alternately. But nothing resets. The main screen doesn't, Node-Red doesn't and neither does Shirpstack. 
I have inserted a screenshot but I doubt this is what you asked.
