I have a question regarding the PS-LB LoRaWAN Air Water Pressure Sensor. I'm wondering if this sensor can accurately measure the volume of water in irregular containers, such as plastic ponds used for landscaping or as water features. Do the uneven walls and floor of the plastic pond, which differ from the symmetrical shape of a standard 300-gallon cylindrical water tank make a difference if you already know how many gallons of water the plastic pond will hold?.
I came across a helpful YouTube video by The Swiss Guy, where he explains water level measurement techniques at 9 minutes and 12 seconds mark:
You Tube video at 9:12. It provided some insights, but I'm still unsure about the specific compatibility of the PS-LB sensor with irregular containers.
I plan to use the immersion version of the sensor rather than the threaded type. Since I won't be measuring beyond four feet deep, and require a cable length of 3 meters, I was considering getting the TN4-C option. However, I would appreciate it if someone with experience could confirm if this setup would work for my application before I place an order.
Any input or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
